Artist's Description
This painting was done when I was living in New York City, in a small studio apartment on West 75th street. I was still in performing arts school, and visualizing my big roll in a Broadway show.
It is a picture of me that was taken when I was in the Position One dance company in college. It was my favorite picture of myself.
Parts of it is done with modeling paste to make it look 3D and jump off the page.
